If you do not yet have a digital Bitcoin wallet, start by downloading Bread Wallet (BRD) from the Apple or Android App Store. Once downloaded, the wallet will prompt you to complete a couple of quick and easy steps. You will have to set a security pin and record your “seed”. The seed is a random, twelve-word phrase that will assist you in recovering your wallet, should you lose or break your phone. Although you can skip these steps, it is advised to complete them as they only take 2-3 minutes and can help you recover lost Bitcoin.

Once the setup is complete, you will see that the footer on the home screen has has three options: Buy, Trade and Menu. Select Menu > Preferences > Bitcoin settings > Redeem Private Key. Then hit “Scan Private Key”. This will open the camera on your phone. Aim the camera at the private key QR code on your paper wallet (the piece of paper you received from the Bitcoin kiosk) and the wallet will begin to upload the Bitcoin.
